Nokia Wins $2 Billion Mobile Contract in China

With the outbreak of business in China, companies that supply the technology need to keep on the up and up to make sure the most up to date phones and other devices are at the forefront of such a rising industry.

And, one mobile phone manufacturer sure knows that, in order to stay dominant in a market, you have to keepthat market booming and up to date with the latest and greatest.

Nokia (News - Alert) announced that the company has renewed cell phone contracts worth more than two billion dollars with two distributors in China, a major Nokia market.

According to the Finland-based phone provider, China PTAC is expected to purchase mobile devices valued at more than one billion dollars from Nokia this year. And, Telling Telecom Holding is also expected to replica the contract.

Since Nokia got the deal in China, it solidifies not only the necessity of the mobile world in the far away overseas land, but also that competition in the market is narrowing, and that Nokia is weighing in as quite a front runner.

In fact, China is Nokia’s key market and in 2009 the region it calls “Greater China” accounted for around 16 percent of the group’s net sales.
