Retina-X Studios Releases Android Mobile Spy

Retina-X Studios, a creator of spy software products, has reportedly launched a new Mobile Spy for smartphones running the Android (News - Alert) operating system.

According to a press release, with this Android technology, users can silently monitor GPS locations; incoming and outgoing text messages (SMS) and call information of children or employees even if activity logs are erased. Though this kind of Mobile Spy is already been available for the BlackBerry, iPhone (News - Alert), Windows Mobile and Symbian OS smartphones, Retina official clarified that this new version for the Android platform is more simple to remotely monitor.

According to the release, the Mobile Spy runs in total stealth mode and no mentions of the program are shown inside the Android device. Once the software is installed in the phone, it silently records GPS locations at a rate decided by the owner of the phone. Moreover, the entire text of all SMS text messages, along with the associated phone number, will also be recorded.

Additionally, inbound and outbound call information with duration of the call is also recorded. Soon after the activities are logged, they are uploaded to the user’s private online account which can be checked from any web browser without needing further access to the phone, clarified the company’s statement.

“Mobile Spy allows parents and employers to discover the entire truth. However, sometimes the truth hurts,” said James Johns, chief executive officer at Retina-X Studios.

A key advantage of this system, as stated by the company, is that it helps businesses enforce their Acceptable Use Policy on company-provided phones.

Mobile Spy works on all Android devices, including the new My Touch 3G by T-Mobile and Motorola (News - Alert) Droid. The software also has a version for iPhone, BlackBerry and other smartphones running the Windows Mobile or Symbian OS operating systems.
