Newton Peripherals Intros MOGO Talk for BlackBerry Curve & Javelin

Integrated wireless peripherals developer, Newton Peripherals has introduced “MoGo Talk”, an ultra-thin integrated Bluetooth headset for the BlackBerry (News - Alert) Curve and BlackBerry Javelin.

MoGo Talk joins the company’s line off ultra-thin peripherals, which also includes the MoGo Mouse, a bluetooth mouse that stores and charges inside a laptop.

MoGo Talk enables users to store and charge on the back of mobile phones, giving them the convenience of always having a charged headset with them at all times. MoGo Talk for BlackBerry Curve and Javelin models come with a replacement battery door that stores and charges the headset and are available for $129.99.

Stuart Nixdorff, president of Newton Peripherals said that they designed the new  MoGo Talk models specifically for BlackBerry users who value the integration of phone, e-mail and a Bluetooth headset on a single device.

“Our ultimate goal is to integrate MoGo Talk units with all mobile phones; in the case of RIM, these new MoGo Talk models charge and store on the back of BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Javelin models, with Bold and Tour models to follow. We are exploring further integrations with RIM devices that would enable MoGo Talk to charge directly with a BlackBerry unit from a single power cord.” added Stuart Nixdorff.

MoGo Talk uses a flexible, thin rubber ear tip that conforms to the ear, creating a seal that blocks out noise and secures the MoGo Talk in place.

Officials said that the MoGo Talk model can also store and charge inside a laptop’s express card slot, bringing consumers the “convenience” of always having a charged headset for Skype (News - Alert), voice over Internet protocol calls and mobile telephony calls.

“MoGo Talk follows on Newton Peripherals’ tradition of designing the best wireless peripherals for the mobile lifestyle,” Nixdorff said in a statement.

The company plans to soon release MoGo Talk models for additional BlackBerry devices including the Tour and the Bold.
