Itsmy.com Sees Bright Future in Mobile Social Browser Games



A recent survey from itsmy.com, one of United States’ and Europe’s largest pure mobile social networks with integrated mobile social browser games, reveals that the majority of players are around 27 years old, and liked to play several times a day, whenever they had a chance.
 
The researchers questioned around 1,500 users in Europe and North America and asked them about their mobile social gaming habits. The survey revealed that the games are popular among both the sexes, and the players don’t mind spending money on buying new games.
 
Of those surveyed, twelve percent said that they are regular buyers of mobile games and around forty eight percent purchase virtual items for their games from time to time.
 
The company’s proprietary mobile social platform allows them to address the user demands in terms of quantity and quality of mobile browser games, said Jukka Saarelainen, chief technical officer at itsmy.
 
“The integration within our social network opens the ability to be entertained and make friends at the same time which is very appealing for our customers,” Saarelainen said.
 
Itsmy, a brand of Gofresh GmbH, is one of the strongest community brands in mobile Internet. Antonio Vince Staybl, CEO of itsmy indicated that only 11 percent of all participants need a well-know brand or title and more than sixty percent people play games that sound interesting because of their style or story.
 
Their creative in-house mobile browser game studio is geared for this challenge and has more than 10 new, exciting games in the pipeline. Itsmy.com also sees a huge opportunity for a market of billions of mobile phones.
 
Noting interactive mobile social browser games as a reliable revenue generator, Sabine Irrgang, COO itsmy informed that they hope to expand their mobile social games reach in Q4/2009. They expect to do so by co-operating with strategic mobile partners across the globe.
