New Beta Version of msgpush.com
By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor
Founded by two former BlackBerry enthusiasts, msgpush.com provides its users with instant information of any new emails sent to their IMAP accounts. The msgpush.com application was recently launched in a beta version, making it all the more easier for users to access their email accounts in an iPhone (News - Alert) environment. To begin with, the company is making available only a restricted number of accounts, which users can register on a first come first served basis, on their website www.msgpush.com to commemorate the Apple (News - Alert) Worldwide Developers Conference 2009.
Most contemporary paid subscriptions would require users to configure additional email accounts using techniques which can be described as complicated at best. This revolutionary product enables users to receive real-time information without having to change their existing email settings, breaching security in the iPhone operating system or installing any further software in their phones. Once they visit the website, users will be asked to provide details to complete a simple registration process. They can then enter the user name and password to the email account for which they wish to get the real-time announcement and then adjust the iPhone settings so it connects with the site.
Once the service is activated, it will immediately issue alerts to the subscribers’ registered iPhone as and when he receives a new email. The mail symbol on the iPhone flares up informing the subscribers that a new email has been delivered to his inbox and the users can access their email and work on it as usual. This really simple yet highly effective push button system all happens in the span of a few seconds as against other similar services which use a pull technology and takes almost 15, 30 or even 60 minutes in some cases.
Co-founder of msgpush.com, Michael Reid, spoke on the launch, “As avid iPhone and Gmail users, we realized that there had to be a more streamlined way to receive new email notification. We set out to develop a solution that utilizes sophisticated technologies to provide what, in the end, is a simple service."
One of the biggest draws of this technology is that it is really simple and easy to use. Once the configuration is set, the notifications automatically start coming in. Users can also be assured of total professionalism in work and send emails without unnecessary appendages like ‘send as’ or ‘on behalf of.’
