Fortress Intros Training for Wireless Network Environments

Fortress Technologies, a provider of secure wireless solutions, has announced the launch of a certified training program designed to help organizations establish and manage secure wireless networks.

 

Whether an organization is operating in the government or commercial sectors, optimal security in a wireless environment is critical. Protecting both customer and organizational data from outside threats must be a key priority, not only for quality customer service, but also to be compliant with industry regulations.

According to Fortress President Janet Kumpu, properly establishing and managing a secure wireless network is not an easy task. It requires a certain level of expertise that only individuals with real-world implementation experience can provide, she said.

At a cost of $1,495, the two-day Fortress Certified Training program will help Fortress partners and customers to provide expert installation and deployment of Fortress products; cut down on installation time; reduce errors; increase end-user satisfaction; and generate more revenue.

Fortress Certified Training is an intensive course, according to Matthew Collar, Director of Services and Support at the company.

“As such, we are recommending that participants have a general understanding of network technologies/topologies, the OSI Reference Model, network device functionality, and security concepts, as well as an intermediate knowledge of Wireless Local Area Networking and RF fundamentals,” Collar said.
