Symphony Services and Teleca recently announced that they would merge to form a new company known as Symphony Teleca Corporation. Both companies have signed a classic merger agreement, which has been mutually accepted by the board of directors, to launch a services firm for creating software and mobility solutions for the connected world. The strengths and assets of each company will be leveraged to create a top company which will help to change software, connected devices and enterprise mobility.
The increasing power of mobility, cloud on software and software-facilitated product development along with the increasing adoption and massive market opportunity of enterprise mobility are the key factors which will drive the new company. Long-term value for customers, employees and investors will be improved with the augmented range, capacity and global capabilities of Symphony Teleca Corporation.
Industry veteran Sanjay Dhawan will be the CEO of Symphony Teleca, which will have its head office in Palo Alto (News - Alert), California. With more than 200 blue-chip customers, Symphony Teleca, with its 6,000 global employees, already has a well-built economic base. The company will also have 12 delivery locations in India, China, Europe, U.S., Japan and South America.
