AT&T and Samsung Forged Creative Collaboration to Debut Samsung Galaxy Note

AT&T and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) reportedly forged a sponsorship deal with Rag & Bone. Under the deal, AT&T and Samsung (News - Alert) Mobile will serve as the title sponsor of the Rag & Bone Fall Winter 2012 Mens and Women’s Collection show on February 10th during New York Fashion Week. At the show, Samsung will unveil its hybrid smartphone/tablet Galaxy Note, which will be available exclusively at AT&T.
In a press release, Samsung said that the Rag & Bone’s fashion show provides the perfect launch pad for its Galaxy Note, as both organizations strive to inspire creativity and ease of use through fashion or technology.
Rag & Bone Designers, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, will host the Galaxy Note U.S. launch party during New York Fashion Week on February 14th. A designer custom case for the Galaxy Note, which the designer duo has created to celebrate Galaxy Note’s US debut, will be unveiled at the show.
AT&T, Samsung and Rag & Bone have created a co-branded advertising campaign, which will launch later this month, to promote the joint sponsorship.
Other joint initiatives include the launch of a Facebook page offering an interactive experience for consumers. The consumers can visit the page to try their lucks on daily giveaways that include Rag & Bone gift cards and merchandise, Samsung Galaxy Note devices; VIP passes the Fashion Week show and postings by the designers.
Samsung GALAXY Note has attracted attention worldwide for its large 5.3" HD Super AMOLED touch screen with S-pen technology. Samsung has defined Galaxy Note as the ultimate device that consolidates the core benefits of a tablet while maintaining the portability of a smartphone. For the legendary designers Neville and Wainwright, Galaxy note is a device that perfectly combines technology and design.
Recently, Spreadtrum Communications (News - Alert), Inc. announced that its TD-SCDMA baseband platform, the SC8803G, is equipped in the TD-SCDMA version of the Samsung GALAXY Note for China Mobile (News
- Alert) subscribers, introduced in December 2011.
