Telesocial Releases Flash SDK
January 13, 2012

Telesocial, a company specializing in mobile voice API, has unveiled its Flash SDK which is a software toolkit for application development that supports Adobe's (News - Alert) Flash environment and ActionScript 3.

The new toolkit allows any Flash application to now add mobile voice services for free with Telesocial's Application Program Interface (API). The API allows social voice features to be integrated in games and apps, giving the end user an anonymous and safe way to communicate on their favorite platform while phone numbers remain secure.

"Developers have wanted the ability to easily add rich communications features to their applications at massive scale without exposing users' phone numbers," Eric Stone, chief technology officer of Telesocial said in a press release.

"With the Adobe Flash SDK with AS3, millions of existing Flash applications everywhere can add safe social calling, group calling, TalkSpaces, virtual conferences, in-app voice mail and messaging, media recording and distribution and other features using our free and scalable API," Stone added.

Back in October of last year, Telesocial initially launched its AP and the company said that it has had a very positive response from the developer community. The Telesocial network is noted to currently support all U.S. mobile carriers and the company is planning to expand globally in early 2012.

Through leveraging the company’s API, developers on Facebook, Twitter, iOS and Android (News - Alert) can utilize the power of voice in a safe and scalable new way. Telesocial's API made is available as an SSL REST service and is free to users and developers. In addition, the platform supports many languages including – PHP, .Net / C#, Objective-C / iOS, JAVA, Python, Ruby, Scala, Flash / ActionScript3 and Unity.
