eSecuritel's Cell Phone Protection Program to Be Distributed by Cellular Sales
Customers across the globe are being provided with a range of advanced mobile handsets and smartphones every day, but when it comes to phone replacement programs, they don’t get a wide variety to choose from.
eSecuritel, a provider of cell phone protection and replacement programs that offer advanced customer experience to program subscribers, has announced that Cellular Sales, a well known Verizon (News
- Alert) premium wireless retailer, will provide its device protection program to the subscribers across 470 locations.
A part of Brightstar Corp., a company which provides diversified services focused on enhancing the profitability of the wireless device value chain, eSecuritel offers phone protection for new, used, or prepaid wireless devices against a number of untoward incidents. These include loss, theft and accidental damage as well as mechanical or electronic failure and malfunction.
Additionally, the company has introduced various replacement programs that comprehensively cover different stages of the handset life cycle, such as buyer’s remorse, manufacturer’s warranty, handset protection programs, out-of-warranty and retention programs.
Based in Knoxville, Tenn., Cellular Sales was established in 1993 by Dane and Meg Scism, two graduates from the University of Tennessee. At present, it has been operating at around 500 locations and had been ranked among the 75 fastest growing retailers across the U.S. in the Inc. 5000. The company had been looking for a solution that could help it in creating a new source of revenue, retaining previous customers and maintaining a different place for itself in the wireless market. Cellular Sales will brand the cell phone protection and replacement program offered by eSecuritel as TechProtect.
The programs being provided by eSecuritel have been allowing the wireless retailers to offer customized handset protection solutions for enabling the subscribers enjoy a superior customer experience. Additionally, it provides a number of monthly insurance plans, new equipment replacement and over-the-counter or direct mail phone replacement options for the subscribers as well.

Leveraging the web-based Handset Issue Tracking System technology of eSecuritel, Cellular Sales will seamlessly integrate its Point of Sale system for accelerating the enrollment process. Furthermoe, it will enable smooth filing and fulfillment of claims for lost, damaged and stolen devices. All the features of the phone replacement program are conveniently managed by HITS, which allows the customers to receive a replacement phone right at their home or office as well.

In November 2011, eSecuritel announced its mobile phone insurance solutions had been integrated into iQmetrix’s (News - Alert) leading retail management software solution, RQ4. The integration will enable wireless retailers in the U.S. and Canada to more easily enroll wireless subscribers in eSecuritel’s handset protection programs.
