NEW Unveils ServiceBench Mobile to Enhance In-Home Service Experience

N.E.W. Customer Service Companies (NEW), a global provider of extended service plans and product protection, announced the launch of its new mobile app, ServiceBench Mobile.

The new mobile app is aimed at offering assistance to repair professionals during in-home service events. It acts as a real-time status tool. It also allows servicers to log their daily service events as they happen, increasing NEW's visibility into the customer repair cycle.

ServiceBench Mobile is available for iPhone, Android (News - Alert) and BlackBerry devices. The new mobile app is capable of empowering NEW service professionals with the ability to organize their repair appointments for the day, keep track of “open” jobs or jobs that are in need of follow-up, search for additional claims and in-home service calls in their area, locate customers through directional technology, and order the necessary parts for repair.

“Today, ServiceBench provides NEW a tremendous amount of visibility into the end-to-end service experience. This app supports and only strengthens the capabilities of the ServiceBench technology that exists today and is already used by 43,000 service professionals who support manufacturers and retailers across the country,” said Louis Rose, NEW vice president of ServiceBench operations, in a statement.

“With this tool, we can further improve the user experience by providing users with a tool that not only enhances and expedites the administrative aspect of their business but that will also increase their ability to provide a seamless customer experience while out in the field,” Rose added.

Recently, NEW announced that the company will continue its consumer education efforts about the evolution and value of extended service plans and services for consumer electronics around the theme of “Protected, Connected, Corrected.” which will be reinforced through a photo kiosk, promotion of its repair cost data on popular electronics, live show coverage from thesavvyshopperblog.com, giveaways and more.
