Synchronoss Adds Miyowa's Social Networking Capabilities to Its Mobility Platform
The boom in both the social networking world and the mobile messaging arena has opened wide avenues for technology developers and mobile solutions integrators to introduce innovative products that integrate social networking tools and mobile messaging platforms to provide a seamless mobile social networking experience to the users.
Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a provider of transaction management, cloud enablement and connectivity services for connected devices, has acquired Miyowa, Inc., a company that offers mobile solutions for social networking and messaging aggregation. Leveraging its technology platforms, Synchronoss offers a simple and seamless on-demand channel for service providers and their customers, while Miyowa (News - Alert) makes it possible for the mobile carriers and handset manufacturers to leverage and monetize social and messaging solutions across a number of mobile devices. With the new development, Synchronoss will integrate the advanced capabilities and technology offered by Miyowa to its existing mobility platform for connected devices.

Miyowa is a Marseille, France based provider of enhanced mobile social networking solutions from the device to the cloud, enabling instant messaging and transfer of digital media across all operating systems and within a variety of connected devices. The company has been serving a number of well known clients such as the wireless carrier Orange, as well as device manufacturers such as HTC (News - Alert), Samsung and ZTE. Apart from that, it has established close relationships with a range of social networks and messaging providers such as Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live, Yahoo!, Gtalk and AIM. With the help of the integrated technology platforms firmly developed by Miyowa, Synchronoss will be able to streamline its cloud operations within a range of mobile devices and operating platforms.
