Many people turn to social network websites to find long lost family, friends or collegues, but do you know who is searching for you? Now you will because Los Angeles-based MyLife.com has launched a new app for Android (News - Alert) users offering to help them become aware of who is looking for them on the social networks.
The app maker says the new application also enables social media users to stay connected to all their social networks through a single connection and find people they cannot find elsewhere.
More than anything else, the app offers the popular "Who's Searching for You" service, allowing users to identify when someone views their profile or searches for them on social networks like Facebook.
The company has already added Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter (News - Alert), and is currently working to integrate Google+.
The average member has more than 3 profiles across multiple services, plus multiple email accounts and MyLife’s goal is to make money by helping them manage all accounts in one place.
"People are in needed of added control and organization of their social feeds and their mobile services. The MyLife mobile app will help users save valuable time by bringing together their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (News - Alert) feeds, plus allows easy sharing to multiple services all in one place," MyLife CEO, Jeff Tinsley said in a statement.
MyLife lets users sort and manage these profiles, connecting over 1.2 billion searchable profiles by combining user-contributed data from over 60 million registered members with social profiles and public records. MyLife plans on spending $35 million in 2012, starting with a nationwide television campaign to promote the valuable new Personal Relationship Manager services.
Late last year, MyLife launched its Personal Relationship Manager (PRM) service to compliment and combine today's popular social networks in a single location.
