NIIT Technologies (News - Alert) has joined hands with Pegasus Solutions to make Pegasus Solutions’ RezView Mobile application available in both Apple (News - Alert) and Android app stores with the Utell Hotels & Resorts app.

Offering a consistent brand experience across different digital platforms, including both Website and mobile interfaces, Pegasus’ RezView Mobile allows Pegasus’ hotel customers to configure the application to meet their branding and display requirements. The app is available in several languages and geographies. Apart from being available as a browser-based application for other mobile devices, the product is also available as a native application on the iPhone, the iPad and Android (News - Alert) phones, the company stated in a press release.

Lalit Dhingra, president of NIIT Technologies, Inc. said in a company press release, “We are excited to share that the dynamic mobile application we built with Pegasus for Utell is now available for download. RezView Mobile represents a new growth channel for Pegasus Solutions’ hotel customers worldwide.”

RezView NG, the RezView Mobile product has been jointly designed, developed and tested using resources from NIIT Technologies’ development centers in Bangalore and New Delhi, India and Pegasus’ development centers in Scottsdale, AZ and Bonita Springs, FL, by combining NIIT Technologies’ strong industry expertise and deep knowledge of the mobile platform with Pegasus Solutions’ award-winning next generation central reservation system (CRS). Through solid technological innovation, RezView Mobile meets a distinct need for the hotel industry.

Recently, the company announced the appointment of Thomas Westhoff as director, Insurance Technology (US and Bermuda), based in its Atlanta office. In his new position, Westhoff is focused on driving expansion of NITL’s commercial insurance and reinsurance software solutions business in North America and Bermuda.

Westhoff brings considerable industry experience from working in senior roles with companies such as Insuresoft, Progressive Insurance and LexisNexis (News - Alert) Risk Solutions, and most recently MicroStrategy, where he was a senior strategic business development executive.
