Alert), Windows Mobile and Android phones by offering a SaaS solution for development and hosting of crossplatform native smartphone apps.
With the offering, mobile developers can build their apps online without installing SDKs for various smartphones locally. Additions to RhoHub 2.0 include the ability for a developer to use their own local IDE or editor of choice, support for Rhodes 2.1 and use of any development branch of Rhodes, support for RhoSync 2.0's best in class sync capabilities, built-in version control, and production quality hosting with quality of service guarantees.
According to Adam Blum, CEO of Rhomobile, this newest offering allows developers to create apps for iPhone (News - Alert), BlackBerry, WindowsMobile and Android within their Web browser from anywhere - making the build process faster and more affordable and with the addition of the company’s easily implemented RhoSync 2.0, offered hosted on RhoHub.
By offering Development-as-a-Service, RhoHub reduces development time, allowing developers to build native smartphone applications without having to install specific smartphone OS SDKs on their machines.
In addition, RhoHub now supports the 2.1 release of Rhodes and allows app developers to use any version of Rhodes including the very latest development master branch or older releases.
