- The approved Defense Bill allocated $800,000 to AUSI to develop upgraded electronics to support a 30 kW VIPER system.
- Recently, AUSI completed the installation of ten all electric Oasis transport refrigeration unit for Kraft Food which represents an important milestone for AUSI’s Oasis All-Electric transport refrigeration solution.
- If that’s not enough, AUSI’s military VIPER mobile power solution will be showcased at the AUSA exposition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida February 24-26, by Pennsylvania State University Advance Research Laboratory.
The VIPER system will be shown integrated into the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (“HEMTT”) Wrecker vehicle. The HEMTT wrecker has a heavy-duty crane and winch. It provides heavy wheeled recovery and crane recover/tow/maintenance lift assistance to 10-ton and lighter tactical wheeled vehicles. It’s lift-and-tow system can recover disabled vehicles in two to three minutes. The vehicle is produced by Oshkosh Truck Corporation.
The Pennsylvania State University Advance Research Laboratory serves as the trusted agent for the Department of Defense and is primarily a science and technology-based laboratory with leadership in many technical areas including power and energy systems.
