Ron Kaiser Joins MobileAccess as President & CEO to Set Stage for Next Phase of Company's Growth

VIENNA, VA, Nov 23, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- MobileAccess, a leading provider of in-building wireless solutions, today announced the appointment of Ron Kaiser as President and CEO.

Kaiser has served on the Company's board since April 2008, was appointed Chairman in September 2009 and will now assume responsibility for all aspects of MobileAccess' day-to-day operations.

Cathy Zatloukal, who served as CEO from March 2004 to November 2009, helped establish MobileAccess' leadership position in the in-building wireless market sector. The Company is pleased to announce Zatloukal will now assume the role of Technical Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. In this role, she will leverage her 25 years of wireless industry expertise to advise MobileAccess in setting strategic direction and opening new markets.

Kaiser is a seasoned industry veteran with a 30 year track record of successfully leading high technology companies from early development through initial public offerings, while growing them to market leaders. He has held senior executive positions with a number of technology companies, including OTG Software and Trusted Information Systems. At OTG Software, Kaiser grew the company into a global leader for storage systems through multiple acquisitions and a public offering, helping establish and execute a highly successful multiple tier distribution strategy. OTG was acquired by Legato Systems (now EMC2) for more than $400 million. Kaiser also led Trusted Information Systems, an internet security company, through its IPO and early growth phase, while it introduced the first commercially available firewall.

"Bringing Ron on as CEO is an ideal addition to the MobileAccess management team," said board member and former Chairman Alex Rogers.

"His presence on the board has been invaluable, helping MobileAccess to expand its market footprint. We're confident that his mix of operational and leadership experience will effectively guide MobileAccess through the next stage of growth as we expand our global market position." "Cathy has played a critical leadership role in growing MobileAccess from a young start-up to a force in the North American market," noted Rogers. "She remains an important voice for the in-building wireless sector and we are excited to have her continued support in driving MobileAccess' global agenda." "MobileAccess' proven suite of products, deep R&D talent, and long-standing partner and carrier relationships provide us with a strong foundation to further develop and provide market-leading, in-building wireless solutions," said Kaiser. "After spending over a year and a half on the board and working closely with the management team, I have been impressed with the depth of experience and innovation MobileAccess delivers to our thousands of customers worldwide. BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (BlackBerry MVS) BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System (BlackBerry MVS) converges office desk phones and BlackBerry® smartphones, allowing users to access standard enterprise voice features whether at their desks or on the go*. BlackBerry MVS encompasses BlackBerry® MVS Client software for BlackBerry smartphones, BlackBerry MVS Services of BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, and the Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite.

With BlackBerry MVS, BlackBerry smartphone users can access enterprise desk phone options directly from the menu interface of the BlackBerry phone application, while at the same time securely authenticating to the organization’s enterprise telephony system (PBX). BlackBerry MVS also gives IT administrators the control to set voice policies on the BlackBerry smartphone, so that inbound and outbound calls use the enterprise line. This allows for all mobile calls to be logged or recorded for compliance with regulatory or corporate standards.
